FATTY. JUICY. YUMMY Long Weekends!
Saturday (26th July 2014)
The boy went with me to church for my church 25th Anniversary!
It feels even greater, when Terrence is back too!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHC!
So glad to be in this house of God for more than 11 years, the best has yet to come~!
Happy that I'm blessed with awesome friendship, my awesomepeeps.
We grew up in church together.
After service, my awesomepeeps and I went back down to
Godma's for awesome feasting.
Godma did it again this round with Roasted Veggies, Rosti, Apple Crumple, Pastas &
even self-made Peppermint ice-cream.
Yummy. Yumyums~
The food was so good that all of us were eating quietly and quickly!
Snatching and aiming at the food..
nearly left none for Jojo, the late-comer. hahaha!!
We also took the opportunity to celebrate Terrence and my Boy's
advanced birthday, they share the same day! Happy Birthday my bitch, love you always and always will. ![]() As for pictures with the boy shall be posted after his surprise birthday. I've been busy planning his birthday, it's a surprise! So after 1st August, I'll have pictures for the boy's birthday.
So.. Stay tune!
Sunday (27th July 2014)
The boy's advanced birthday celebration with his family at
The RISE RESTAURANT, Marina Bay Sands.
Thank you cuzzie for all the favours for making these happened for us & his family.
Food time!
Look at those hands at the dessert bar.. I couldn't take a proper photos without hands!
As youngster, we usually will let others take pictures I believed, but these hands belongs to Aunties! One of them even pushed me away.. I didn't know buffet has legs! I hate buffet! Everyone's like hungry ghost! hahaha~ nevermind that aside.. Close up for the food.. ![]() ![]()
Overall, the service wasn't good.
Plates wasn't cleared, if not I would have more pictures. But no, because I don't want to take pictures full of empty plates. ☹ Food was so-so only. It's about 60 per pax.
I probably think his family will not dine there again. haha!
xoxo.

Reviews: BellaBox June' 2014
I'm a subscriber of Bellabox for 4-5 months already.
I particularly adore this June box!
Some of the months, upon receiving my Bellabox, I would feel that I'm wasting money because the product of that month wasn't fascinating at all.
But some other months, the products are really awesome. I don't really dare to use facial product because I have really sensitive skin. But those make-up such as lip gloss, mascara and etc comes in handy! My sister actually scolded me for wasting money because these are all samples, you shouldn't even be paying for samples isn't it? But some of the product are not packed in those stingy-tiny-small size packaging.
So I shall continue to subscribe.
My thinking is that.. well.. at least I try before I really buy it and regret later?!
For this particular box, I've tried the Fresh SUGAR LIP TREATMENT.
It has a nice berry small, leaves your lips wet and gives off a shiny lips look.
Love it!
I've also tried the new perfume by ANNA SUI.
Ohh, I'm super particular on my choice of perfume and surprisingly, this is good too! I'm so going to get the big bottle. It makes me smell so sweet. hahaha!
Subscribe now: http://bellabox.sg/
It's only $19.95 to per month!
I just wanna look alittle more prettier. Dunch you?
xoxo.

Review: Backstage Cafe
Last Friday, I went out to meet one of my product line supplier.
They were located around Kallang Way.
Jasmine & I chance upon this cafe as we drove passed.
We were too early for our next appointment, so we decided to drop by for a chillax.
The ambience of the cafe is awesome.
The very moment we stepped in, we: "Wahhhhhhhhhhh".
It's such a suitable place to chillax after a long day at work~!
Initially, we only wanted to have a drink but we ended up eating as we couldn't resist the temptation of those food pictures on the menu!
We have egg bens~
![]() ![]() The one with Salmon cost $15 The one without cost $12 Rather reasonable. Had a well-spent time with Jasmine. I shall not forget to mention.. the food is nice! The egg bens are great.
I have a habit of not eating the bread always.
But this bread is superb, it taste so good that I finished it all.
I am so going to drop by again to try other stuff.
Friendly service & parking is complimentary. So much plus points! Its definitely a GOLD in the midst of some ulu industrial area in Singapore~

Dining Experience - Antoinette (Palais Renaissance)
This post is "Throwback Big C's Birthday (Part 2)" and
also review on Antoinette (Palais Renaissance).
Antoinette was one of the most blogged/ instagram-ed dining place/ talk-about.
Reviews after reviews.
The website stated: "Reservations: Highly recommended, 1 week in advance."
Wow~ I thought to myself, is it really that packed?
Since it's Big C's Birthday, we shall dine in pretty restaurants & so we tried Antoinette.
I called in for reservation of table, there's only one contact number provided on the website.
Talk for 3 minutes to find out that that's for Penhas Road outlet.
But I wanna booked Palais Renaissance outlet, the server gave me another number, asked me to call myself and I did.
The place is really pretty. I love this elegant, classy & lavishing-looking restaurant.
It's like dining in the backyard of big houses in America.
Okay, one issue here.. IT'S VERY EMPTY.
Probably just 2 tables were occupied.
I doubt the servers are local and they seems to happily chatting at the cashier area.
At the direction I'm seated, they will not see me if I need assistance.
That very much explained why Antoinette seems to be losing it. Let's talk about the food.
Look nice isn't it? Sad to say.. Only Mushroom Soup is nice.
Look at my face when I drank it~ HAHAHA (unglam shot by my big c).
Ready to stuff the food into us~
It's my first time eating Foie Gras, Big C said: "either you like or hate it".
I'm fine with the taste just that maybe the Antoinette ones is not as good as other restaurants?
My beef, first mouth.. it taste quite unique.
But subsequently, I'm getting sick of the sauce and all.
Okay, maybe it's just not my kind of food.
The crepe is not bad though. I guess if I were to go there ever again, I will have the crepe.
Ambience: 9.5/10
Service: 7/10
Food: 6/10
Price: Expensive. haha but it's once again Big C's treat.
Thank You for always feeding us. ❤
My C's sissy - Christy. Chevy. Christine
It's quite sad to see how some eatery places started off very well, reached the peak and starting to fall.
Whenever someone, bloggers/ television show/ word-of-mouth introduce nice food or awesome food.
The quality of the food will have drastic changes.
For example: "Bedok 85 Bak chor mee", it was once labelled as "best bak chor mee in Bedok".
Look at it now, the serving becomes smaller.
The soup becomes more bland and etc.
No quality. Standard Dropped.
If I can have heavenly food, I don't mind waiting.
What about you?
xoxo.

Review: d'Good Cafe.
I had a super long weekends for Labour Day.
Office was closed on 1st & 2nd May.
On Labour Day, the boy brought me out for a date.
Brunch at the place which I always wanted to try!
Yes, I finally got to try out d'Good Cafe!
I love the ambience, cosy-homely-chilling environment.
It's well-decorated, painted brown walls and swings.
But there's just this one turn-off point.
It's free seating, which means you will have to find your own seats & wait for the server to clear your table.
My table was in a messed when I sat down.
It's like food court style and I dislike that.
Well, I was really lucky to have the swing seats after a group of peeps left.
BUT~ I didn't get the chance to take picture with that window!
Those people that went there before will know what I'm talking about.
In fact, I always wanted to go there is because of that window HAHA but sadly..
it's at Level 3 & I was actually dining at Level 2.
I did went up to recky however, the thought of taking pictures with that window was so embarrassing,
as there was too many people around ):
Oh, but I happened to be able to take an #ootd shots at the stairs. (better than nothing, HAHAHA!)
Okay food~ hmmm.. I had egg benedict.
It's not as awesome as what I had at Prive, Keppel Bay.
But however, it's still average.
The ice chocolate is awesome! hehehe
Okay, cannot don't take photos!
Too much photos, until the boy couldn't stand me longer. LOL.
I really like the cosy feeling to just sit and chillax.
It's a great place to spend time with your love ones.
Thank You the boy for bringing me there.
You made me feel like my "labouring" were all paid off on this Labour Day!
Aftermath, we caught Spider man 2.
Stupid ending though hahaha, I believe you will catch it no matter what I comment.
Hope you guys had a good awesome Labour Day holiday like i did!
xoxo.

Ratings & Review: Siloso Beach Resort.
Initially, I was looking forward to the stay-cation.
So I camwhore non-stop. hahaha, I love this new monthly lenses but I have really sensitive eyes.
I got eye infection since Thursday. But vain me, wanna look good on camera.
With this lens, I don't even need to put eyeliner!
Ending the night without lenses because my eyes got so red by late afternoon.
Guess monthly lenses are ain't for me, now I'm back using my daily lenses, no more dolly eyes ):
By far the WORST stay-cation ever.
Let me list down a few stay-cation experience in Singapore I had before.
- Ascott Raffles
- Swissotel
- Pan Pacific
- Grand Copthorne
- Marina Bay Sands (MBS)
This round for the girlfriend birthday, we got to try stay-cation at Siloso Beach Resort.
It's entrance looks a bit run-down and have limited parking lot.
And first thing the girlfriend said was "wah piang, the picture look better."
Here we go again, pictures VS reality. HAHA!
Service of the reception area is lousy.. we had baby pram but no one open the door for us.
The moment I stepped into the room, I screamed!
The floor is so sandy, the table beside the bed is so dusty.
TOO DIRTY and worst, we have an infant in the room.
Called housekeeping but the person didn't bring a cloth, ended up using up all the tissues and we have to called to request another.
The floor is still sandy even after vacuuming it and we can't even change room, goodness.
Put down our stuff, ready for the swim.. oh my gosh~ the water looks so dirty.
I swam 30 mins and I'm up and rushing for a bath, I couldn't stand it any longer.
Paid 400SGD per night for such stay-cation, no way!
Okay this hotel had been blacklisted.

Overall, a gathering with the girlfriends is always awesome.
xoxo.

Review: 2D1N Soju Bang Korean BBQ Restaurant
Had a double date with Matt & Emma together with the boy.
I dislike steamboat and Korean BBQ because I CAN'T COOK.
I also don't like to end up smelling like a walking pot.. hehehe.
Well, it's the first time I tried eating Korean BBQ since then, I couldn't get it off my mind.
So nice, especially with the veggie wrap around those meat.
First mouth and I couldn't stop nom-ing away~ Heavenly taste.
The boys can cook!
"2D1N" is like one of the quite well-known Korean BBQ that you can find in Singapore.
Give it a try, it's awesome and I love it.
What's more? Price for 2 person is just around SGD40 +
When you're really hungry, go for the readily, cooked food while waiting for the boys to cook.
HAHAHA! :p
Been pestering the boy to bring me there again!
