My Amazing SAMSUNG NX MINI - PINK
Finally I got my dream camera just last friday,
Samsung NX Mini with 9.27mm lens.
Got it from a seller on "Carousell", at the price of $530 nett.
It was brand new and sealed.
Came with digipod, camera case, 8gb memory card and of course.. Warranty.
I'm so in love with it.
To be frank, I'm not very good with cameras.
Intitially, I thought that 9.27mm lens is just an "add-on" lens to 9mm lens. Errr meaning.. if I didn't fixed 9.27mm, I will still have 9mm lens on the camera, But I was so wrong. If you bought 9.27mm means without 9.27mm lens, your camera is len-less! So please take note.
Also back then, before selling away my Samsung MV800, I was just using it's basic function.
It's always on "smart" mode, #forlazyandnoobpeople hahaha!
So, for this new camera, I took some time to figure out how to use those function,
am learning to change mode according to how I want the snaps to be like.
So what do I love about this camera so far?
1. It is in sweet, babypink.
2. It is light, although not lighter than my MV800 but it's fine.
3. The LCD screen can be flip 180degrees, same as my MV800 but it's 20.5MP VS. 16,1MP!
I am a #selfiequeen
4. Long Lasting Battery, say byebye to autoshut cammy!
Why do I wanna get new camera and sold the old one? - new one has new function such as WiFi and NFC. (I can sync my good quality pictures to my phone now and update my instagram, on the go) - Better quality picture for my blogging purposes. (I don't want my readers to feel cheated with lousy quality picture in my blog post.)
- I got this at a real good deal, so why should I missed this good price?
Oh! There's just one thing in particular that I dislike about.
The F.O.C camera case doesn't protect my interchangeable lens ):
So now I'm in need of good quality NX Mini's casing which I can
protect both the body & its lens. For now, I'll just keep the lens and body apart but it's so not convenient. Whenever I wanna sna photos, I will have to take out the camera then the lens, remove their protective covers and snap. I am so going to get a proper casing soon.
It is a camera that suits me. As the rest of the good camera are too big.
I was actually comparing between
SONY A5000 VS. SAMSUNG NX MINI. theboy told me Sony look too big for me. So, I got NX mini. Get what's suitable for yourself. ;)
xoxo.

It will give you a Heart Attack.
Last Friday, before catching "Step Up All in" at Ang Mo Kio Hub.
We had Eighteen Chef (18 Chef).
It's my second time having Eighteen Chef and thanks to thelover, Aud.
She always recommend the best food!
Love what I ate.. it's was so damn juicy and yummy.
I NEEDED BEEF!
It is called "HA Fried Rice" as "HA" stands for "Heart Attack"
They actually did sell portion for two, John and Aud had it.
I regretted not sharing this with theboy. I went on to order Striplion Steak. Right after he tasted the beef he said: "baby.. this taste exactly like the beef you like in Taiwan!" WIN LIAO LO~!
They were so nice to me that they spared some for me. hehe.
Better than nothing! I now know what I can order next time if I'm dining at 18 chef again.
It's fries with cheese and spicy beef sauce!
It's so yummy but too spicy for me. Today, my main lead of this post is the HA FRIED RICE! Give it a try next time when you hit 18-chef! Let me know it you love it like I do.
xoxo.

Best Steamboat Ever - HAI DI LAO (海底捞)
Last Sunday, seven of us had dinner at Somerset 313, HAI DI LAO (海底捞)
to celebrate Vennon's Birthday.
Theboy gave me some heads up about HDL.
I was told I can do my nails, I didn't believe until I saw it.
We were the first to reach at 7.47pm got our queue number while waiting for the rest.
**59 guests ahead of us!**
#ohsohungry
I'm totally blown away by their awesome customer service.
Yes, you are paying for the service.
Let's talk about this whole dining experience of mine..
1. Manicure room right opposite kids playroom!
![]()
- Mummies can do their nails.
- Children can play right opposite manicure room, with HDL's staff supervision.
- Parents can dine peacefully without their children fidgeting around if they leave
them at the playroom.
- IT IS FREE OF CHARGE!
(explains the price of dining there perhaps..)
All you have to do is leave your name & contact number with the manicurist.
They'll call you up whether you're eat halfway or not.
It's ONE STONE KILL MANY BIRDS!
Ladies & Kids.. SETTLED.
2. They NEVER allow you to wait in vain!
There's table & chair set up at the waiting area.
They serve you FREE-FLOW of Fruits & Tidbits.
All the above will definitely distract you from thinking you're hungry!
It also occupied your mind during this long wait. 3. Television right in front of us!
We were really kind of lucky to have tv right in front of us.
But anyway we were only settled in at 9p.m.
The China guy, 李波, served our table, he's very humble.
I don't know is it just him or all the staff are suppose to provide such awesome service.
Firstly, he offered apron.
Secondly, he offered zip lock bag for mobile phones.
Thirdly, he offered theboy spectacles' cloth, so that he can clean his spects.
(a little extreme lahhh!)
Lastly, he offered me rubber band to tie up my hair!
I'm very amazed.
So amazed that I told Min er that HDL is probably the ONLY place
I could stay around with so many China people around. HAHAHA!
Whether in local or overseas, I seen too many rowdy, rude and dirty China people.
Now we talk about the FOOD.
Chicken soup with Sichuan Spicy Soup
- Fresh
- Wide variety
- Soup is nice
Enough said.
I don't really fancy steamboat because I don't cook.
I'm also very afraid of getting burnt.
Never like the idea of self service and dislike the smell which stays
on your clothings, aftermath.
While I was doing my nails, Min Er helped me took video of the noodle master making noodles!
** Flip, Flip & Flip! **
My nails.. done!
I wasn't attracted to the food, I'm really attracted to their customer service.
Dining there makes me really happy because I love good service.
I felt like a royalty.
They make my wait so worthwhile.
I'm really impatient and I hate to queue but dining in Hai Di Lao was really
different experience for me.
Total bill: $308 +
It's about $44 per pax.
Give it a try!
xoxo!

Starting my month right - MBS Staycation
I mentioned in my previous post that I had a staycation at Marina Bay Sands (MBS),
Club room for 3Days2Nights. So I'm going to talk about it today!
Day One: The Surprise!
It's the boys' Birthday on 1st August, I booked the room through Aunty Neo
and planned a surprise party for him.
Got him a present which he would never had expected that I will get.
PS4 with Fifa Bundle + Camera!
In the midst of the planning, there were a few hiccups which cause us some delays on settling down.
As club members, we had access for free food at the club from 2pm-4pm or 5pm-7pm.
Free flow of alcohol and food.
We were in time for the 5pm-7pm slot so we decided to explore The Club at level 57.
Got some bites and I was thinking how to lure the boy out of the hotel,
so that his friends could come over to prepare for the surprise while we're out.
So I told him I wanna go town shopping because I need to buy new dance apparels
for my upcoming dance class.
The boy was probably still overjoyed over his present, he didn't hesitate
and he even paid for my dance apparels! WAHAHAHA! #savemoolah
Trying to drag time and all so that his friends can all be ready when we got back.
The boy had been very suspicious of anything of me.. anyway cut the story short..
The surprise was a success!
Thank you for those who make time to come down to make it happen for the boy. Most importantly, Thank you the lover, Audrey for helping me to run errand and settle everything for me! The birthday boy was very happy!
Ohhh, I brought my selfie stick there and it was super of use!
Day Two: Chillax and Fireworks.
The party ended only at 4am with the friends..get ready for bed at 5am.
Woke up at 9am just to get a taste of the breakfast. Us against the "ocean" view for breakfast.. Love it! It's buffet style, the food was just so-so though.
Went back to the room and went back to nap till 2pm!
Rush down to town to get games and extra controller for the PS4.
We have guest coming over again to watch fireworks at 8pm.
Our room has an awesome view.
We could see fireworks, almost close to us!
Anyway, the boy got me an extra controller and games such as my Just Dance 2014! He spent a good $200 on just two games and one controller. SONY IS REALLY RICH!
Shortly, our friends came over for Fireworks. A glimpse of the view from our room!
After the fireworks, we set up the PS4 in the room and had so much fun!
I simply love Just Dance.
I was very much worn out by 2am. At 3.15am the boy was hungry and we ordered room service. Not sure is the food too nice or we were really hungry.. but it really does taste better than whatever food we had these past few days!
Day 3: Last day ):
Breakfast facing the City.
Went back to our room to do the last packing.
Check out at 12pm and I rushed down to the hospital right after. Overall, I enjoyed my staycation in MBS. The service 8/10. The room 9/10. The food 7.5/10. But it is located in a rather accessible place, travelling by train is easy. xoxo. Shin Kushiya - J.E.M
Last Sunday was Baby Cayto's 1st Birthday all the way at the WEST~
I had a pretty hard time getting there as an east-sider. hahaha.
Happy Birthday Cayto Tan.. All your yiyi super love you!
We didn't had too much food during the party..
So we had an early dins at SHIN KUSHIYA~
Atas and overpriced.. overpriced and super overpriced.
But it's kinda worth the price and worth the try.
To me, it taste almost same like Sushi Tei standard.
Personally, I always have love for Japanese Curry, so I actually try their Seafood Curry with Rice!
Yumyumyum.
Although the price is really o.o
But the food makes it all worth.
It's one of the other choice for Japanese cuisine.
xoxo.

Cheap try. Best try. Must try!
Today's "MUST TRY" is CHICKEN RICE BALL, in Singapore.
Not only its very rare.. it's taste good.
Well recommended by "Hungrygowhere".
Last friday, my colleague brought us there to try.
It was introduced to him by his dad.
I guess many people were like me, thinking that we can only find this in Malacca. It's located somewhere near Little india area. It's yummy and unique! I only managed to finished one ball though as it's too filling.
Good buy. Best buy. Must buy.
Total bill each of us only pay $5.00!
Yummy chicken rice, awesome soup with unique rice..
What's more to not try?

Special Thanks to Floral Sanctuary!
Yesterday was just another working day, like every other day..
I was doing some work in the office...
Skyping with the boy until my mobile phone rang..
"Hello, I'm here to deliver something to you, but no one's at the door.."
(I thought the delivery man was at my house door and my house has no one.) "Huh~ What is it?" "Flower."
"Huh~ From who?"
"Derrick."
"Ohhh, errrr... no one is at home at this hour, just leave it outside my house.."
"No la.. haha, I'm at your office.."
Totally shocked, went to my office door.
Lo and behold.. the delivery man holding the pretty flowers,
First reaction - CHECK THE FLORIST!
Seems like the boy did learnt a lesson from V-day and
decided to engage a trustworthy florist this time round.
HAHA.. It's from FLORAL SANCTUARY!
In my amused state, I signed the delivery acknowledgment slip.
The delivery man can't stop laughing at me, I guess I really look silly!
Oh great~ mixed feeling!
Why is my Big C and her sissy on the boy's side?! HAHAHA!
I was totally kept in the dark!
No one hint me anything about this arrangement which was planned one day ahead.
Nevertheless, I'm super happy and feeling very blessed!
Thank You for loving me.
Thank You for these pretty flowers.
You know why is it so so special?
Because the reason the boy got me these flowers is just to brighten up my days.
No occasions or whatsoever.
I'm in loveee.
Isn't this flower and design pretty?!
It's done by Steph, the Ladyboss of Floral Sanctuary.
I don't have much to say.. but I can only say.
I love it alot and Thank You Floral Sanctuary and of course, Thank you my Baby!
My excitement over these flowers isn't over yet!
Here's a Friday selfie because I'm feeling pink, so I'm wearing pink!
Look for them if you wanna surprise your love ones!
Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Ah Long Pancakes
I started working in this office since January this year.
Last time, I always skip meals for sleep, but it's so different here.
My colleagues always drive out to dine because of me, the princess.
hehehe, I am happy that I am blessed with nice aunties & uncles here.
I'm treated like their daughter. Of course there's still ought to be a few that dislike you.
Well, life goes on.
I wanna share with you guys my lunch yesterday. Lavender Pig Organ soup. Many should know how yummy this pig organ soup is. The boy called it no-more-hangover-soup, works like some deity pills for him hahaha!
From the title, you should know this isn't the main dish of the day.
The "old people" was saying "the "Ming-jian-kway" aka pancakes is very famous and nice.
This was my definition of "Ming jian kway"!
Hahaha, I told them I'm not interested.
They managed to lure me over to take a look.
I was totally tempted and decided to try.
Let's talk about the taste of this pancake.
10/10! We bought it at about 2 pm, have it at 4pm when it's already cold.
However, it still taste good.
I heard this hawker is going to be demolish, my colleagues ask the auntie where are they shifting to..
She point at the south direction and said: "near the 7-eleven there".
Okay don't know where.. want to go, go now! Address:

Cybercrime | Self- Infliction yay or nay?
Latest news circulating on facebook in the bloggers world now..
"TeyCindy stalked by #WHY."
It was circulated by some of my facebook friends and after reading the whole article, I have so many thoughts that I wanna pen it down.
Article: i-am-a-victim-of-cybercrime
When you're a victim of cybercrime, what should you be thinking?
Once, I also had someone(considered as a friend), she would asked me a lot of questions:-
1) Where do you usually do your shopping
2) What's your favorite food
3) Where do you usually cut your hair
Whenever she sees me, she will comment that she likes my this or love my that and
sometimes she'll even make weird compliments that will literally blow off my mind.
Back then, I was super into parties and bustiers.
I was already dining in cafes or restaurants.
I have my favourite-one-and-only hairstylist in Singapore, Kason.
SHE DID ALL THAT I DID/HAVE WITHIN HER OWN FINANCIAL MEANS.
She even added "er" behind her name, just like my name "Xue Er".
I certainly knows how terrible is that feeling to have someone trying to imitate everything of yours.
Mine, was to face a "REAL-LIFE-STALKER-CRIME" almost every weekend.
I did felt very uncomfortable, but my friends and I just joke it off all the time.
On the brighter side, you're special, that person looked up to you or love your fashion sense.
However, on the dark side.. the person is like a pest to you.
Uh-huh wait. Think about it again.. CYBERcrime.
Something that gotto do with CYBER, the internet.
a) There's millions of user online, all at once almost every minute.
We are living in "Google-tells-you-everything" era you know?
b) Your social media's profile is not private ENOUGH. (Facebook, Instagram, Blogs or etc..)
- Facebook maybe its in private mode, but how private?
As a facebook user for years, do you know that if your friend share your post, everything can be seen clearly unless the privacy is set properly, continuously? (if one person sets it public, that's it.)
My point is, its private yet not private.
Only you can ensure your own privacy. - Instagram, if your profile is NOT private then you shouldn't blame others for copying your images? Oh wait.. not copying your images but maybe copying your style, your captions or even the way you take pictures.
i. Copy your fashion style
(Singapore is so small, only a few famous boutiques, zara, topshop, F21, new look and etc, carrying the same range of clothes, in-trend in its time, how to determine someone is copying your style unless the person matched EVERYTHING (top-toe) just like you did?)
Moreover, no one will put off the clothings the same way, exactly like how you did.
Don't worry.
ii. Copy of captions
(If copying of captions is cybercrime, everyone will be busying reporting cybercrime because captions are common and subjective, you can easily find 1000 same captions in 1000 different pictures such as those famous quotes.)
iii. Copy the way you take picture
(For e.g: Selfie. How many angles can you pose to take a selfie? Tilt left, tilt right, lie down, stand up and etc. So many people taking same kind of photos, same pose or even same angle.. cybercrime? No time.)
I think at the end of the day, it's really up to you to post what you wanna post. You posted = You want/ allow people to view, You wanna share.. be it nice food, cheap clothes or deals. Whether someone is going to copy you anot, it's not within your control, never. I remember when I'm back into blogging in blogspot, my Facebook, tumblr, twitter and etc can be easily available on the left column in my blog and the boy warned me not to give too much information online. Let's be straightforward, you wanna post, you don't make noise when someone starts to stalk or copy you. If you wanna stop cybercrime, the best way is to get off the cyberworld.
Take it easy and just be happy.
** The above post is just my personal opinion. Not against TeyCindy (I don't know her, she don't know me.) and of course I'm NOT for #WHY definitely. Just that the boy asked me if I know about these issue few days ago and today I had a clear read of the post and I am just penning down my thoughts. I am against stalker but I know I can't stop anyone from stalking. This article is just for reference.
Some personal opinions on my own space won't hurt ya? **
xoxo.

Twenty-one-inch pizza
Suntec City is usually very packed with people on Saturdays..
I got a gathering with my awesomepeeps right after our church service.
We wanted to have Aston but the queue was horrible.
We walked passed Peperoni Pizzeria, the queue wasn't any better
but my friends said: "oi.. this is the 21-inch pizza place!"
It really caught my attention.
We decided to queue up no matter how long we need to wait.
The wait is totally worth it!!!
The food is 9/10.
There's like 6 of us, we ordered as if we haven eaten for years.
I thought we'd over-ordered..
So afraid that we couldn't finished but we did it!
The pizza is so good. The skin is so thin yet the ingredient is overwhelming.
1) Mushroom soup ($8)
yummy yummy. I told the boy that this mushroom soup is so much better compared to his 300+ dollars dinner at some michelin restaurant in MBS during this year's Valentine's Day which had brought me to..HAHAHA!
3) Funghi Portobello con Pollo ($20)
Deep fried whole portobello with sautéed chicken fillets in red wine sauce.
I don't really like the taste of these though..
4) MAIN DISH: FAMILY PIZZA (Half Saucisson (Pork) and half Suprema) ($50)
Saucisson (Pork): Pepperoni, bell peppers, onions & roasted garlic
Suprema: Shitake, chicken sausage, onions & red chilli
You can choose your own flavors for 21-inch pizza!
Love it so much that every now and then, I'll crave for it.
I think I had like 6-8 pcs.. hehehe :D
Drop by to have a try..
It's huge and worth it..because " ALL WE KNEAD IS LOVE "
