The closest to home-cooked.
Zi Char is the ever-closest-alike to home-cooked food.
It's a selection of a few dishes with a bowl/plate of rice. You will have fish, pork/chicken/beef, soup and veggies. It was for theboys' mummy Birthday dinner and we dine
at a Kopitiam located at Pasir Ris namely, 446 F&B Pte Ltd.
Auntie chose this place as she said its zi char is famous
but uncle on the other hand was another fussy eater.
He was wondering how nice can a Kopitiam food taste? haha!
Why should I outcast Kopitiam?
Before we started eating, there's a lady, from our nearby table screamed
because a rat/cockroach fell on her legs, out of nowhere. (some say rat, some say cockroach)
I was dining with both of my legs up on my chair. hahaha
And while we were dining, another big, red ants crawled on theboys' sister hand.
Very much grossed by now.
Nevertheless, I feel that the food is really okay.
The fish soup pot is awesome in its way.
Didn't take picture of the fish soup as I wasn't dining with my own family members.
It will be damn paiseh to snap away, however, I was given some time to snap some other food.
So here's what I've got.
I'm allergic to Salted eggs but I did get to try the meat itself and
avoided the outer layer. It's not sweet at all but however, meaty. Tofuuuuu~ I love tofu. No matter what kind of cooking style, I simply love tofu.
I love broccoli too, they had it cooked the way I love.
It's soft, made it easy to chew. Razor clams on the other hand was taste-less. It is also my favorite but I guess I like it raw. Sum it all up, it wasn't about me liking the food but its for theboys' family. Overall the dining experience was 6.5/10. Bad ratings due to the hygiene of the dining area. I believe you won't want to dine halfway and have something creepy hopping unto you?
hehehe.
xoxo.

A taste that I'll never forget.
Sorry for not updating as frequent.
Not sure why my laptop has so many irritating pop-up ads, recently!
I got to refresh a thousand time to get to this posting page.
Pretty much pissed. :/
I'm here to brag about this awesome burger.
Probably the best burger I ever had, in my coming to 25th years on this earth.
I just wanna say, the smellies won't introduce lousy food to us!
Had OMAKASE BURGER two weeks back, it is so good.
Anyway, I was at the Turf City outlet but there's another outlet in Wisma
They have different menu at these two different outlet.
"We grind, blend and hand-farm our patties to ensure freshness and quality."
This very much describe the texture of the patties which you can expect from Omakase.
I wanted Bacon Cheeseburger but theboy actually missed out my order.
Nevertheless, their classic Cheeseburger is still good. The main lead here is the beef and not anything else. It's soft and chewy just like minced pork (but beef.) The cheese for their cheesefries is overwhelming. Except that if you're not a "cheesy" person, you probably feel sick after awhile.
Even after two weeks, I still remember how it taste like.
Simply a good choice for lover of Beef.
Give it a try!

Cheap try. Best try. Must try!
Today's "MUST TRY" is CHICKEN RICE BALL, in Singapore.
Not only its very rare.. it's taste good.
Well recommended by "Hungrygowhere".
Last friday, my colleague brought us there to try.
It was introduced to him by his dad.
I guess many people were like me, thinking that we can only find this in Malacca. It's located somewhere near Little india area. It's yummy and unique! I only managed to finished one ball though as it's too filling.
Good buy. Best buy. Must buy.
Total bill each of us only pay $5.00!
Yummy chicken rice, awesome soup with unique rice..
What's more to not try?

Ah Long Pancakes
I started working in this office since January this year.
Last time, I always skip meals for sleep, but it's so different here.
My colleagues always drive out to dine because of me, the princess.
hehehe, I am happy that I am blessed with nice aunties & uncles here.
I'm treated like their daughter. Of course there's still ought to be a few that dislike you.
Well, life goes on.
I wanna share with you guys my lunch yesterday. Lavender Pig Organ soup. Many should know how yummy this pig organ soup is. The boy called it no-more-hangover-soup, works like some deity pills for him hahaha!
From the title, you should know this isn't the main dish of the day.
The "old people" was saying "the "Ming-jian-kway" aka pancakes is very famous and nice.
This was my definition of "Ming jian kway"!
Hahaha, I told them I'm not interested.
They managed to lure me over to take a look.
I was totally tempted and decided to try.
Let's talk about the taste of this pancake.
10/10! We bought it at about 2 pm, have it at 4pm when it's already cold.
However, it still taste good.
I heard this hawker is going to be demolish, my colleagues ask the auntie where are they shifting to..
She point at the south direction and said: "near the 7-eleven there".
Okay don't know where.. want to go, go now! Address:

Twenty-one-inch pizza
Suntec City is usually very packed with people on Saturdays..
I got a gathering with my awesomepeeps right after our church service.
We wanted to have Aston but the queue was horrible.
We walked passed Peperoni Pizzeria, the queue wasn't any better
but my friends said: "oi.. this is the 21-inch pizza place!"
It really caught my attention.
We decided to queue up no matter how long we need to wait.
The wait is totally worth it!!!
The food is 9/10.
There's like 6 of us, we ordered as if we haven eaten for years.
I thought we'd over-ordered..
So afraid that we couldn't finished but we did it!
The pizza is so good. The skin is so thin yet the ingredient is overwhelming.
1) Mushroom soup ($8)
yummy yummy. I told the boy that this mushroom soup is so much better compared to his 300+ dollars dinner at some michelin restaurant in MBS during this year's Valentine's Day which had brought me to..HAHAHA!
3) Funghi Portobello con Pollo ($20)
Deep fried whole portobello with sautéed chicken fillets in red wine sauce.
I don't really like the taste of these though..
4) MAIN DISH: FAMILY PIZZA (Half Saucisson (Pork) and half Suprema) ($50)
Saucisson (Pork): Pepperoni, bell peppers, onions & roasted garlic
Suprema: Shitake, chicken sausage, onions & red chilli
You can choose your own flavors for 21-inch pizza!
Love it so much that every now and then, I'll crave for it.
I think I had like 6-8 pcs.. hehehe :D
Drop by to have a try..
It's huge and worth it..because " ALL WE KNEAD IS LOVE "

Back to the first date with new Churros!
It's been probably a month since I had Rosti.
So.. as I crave, my craving shall be satisfy.. hehe~
Back to Marche, it's our first dinner as friends back then.
We had almost the same food.
Somehow, I think Marche standards is dropping drastically.
Looks like the Rosti queue is always the looooonnnnnnnggggggeeesssssssttttttt.
During the dinner, the boy pester me to must-have Churros after our dinz.
I wasn't looking forward to it at all lah.. because I wasn't a fan of sweet stuff.
I had Churros once, in GRUB and I decided that it's just not my type of food.
After dinz, we walked over to Orchard Central, L5.
SPANISH DOUGHNUTS
Happy that we managed to get seats.
It's quite packed after a certain timing like 9-ish. The boy was the one who ordered~ so I don't know what's the name of this!
I could feel the heat when the churros was handed over to me by the waiter. Nice packaging with 3 holes for the dips. The boy fed me the first churros dipped with milk chocolate.
I CAN'T STAND THE SWEETNESS!
he went on with the second dip, with dark chocolate and fed me again~ TOO AWESOME. TOO YUMMY. TOO ADDICTIVE. ** Ding Dong Ding Dong ** OKAY. MY TUMMY SAYS YES FOR SPANISH DOUGHNUTS' CHURROS! Now as I blog about it, I am thinking and craving for it. Good stuff, Must intro! It's 8am I got digged out from my bed.
Here I am now in Changi village with Daddy, Mommy & my elder sister.

Okay, don't eat the beehoon.
They said it's awful.
Try the carrot cake is quite unique and different from others.

The ones with me.
Bad office day?
You need awesome people like them.
A simple dinner at Toastbox & chit-chat after some "office politic" warfare with my girls.
I feel blessed with these crazy bitches with me.
Do you have friends? Are they your happy pill?
If not, change, you can be a happy soul.
You definitely deserve better!
The boy is back from Japan trip..
And he got me so many yummies and most importantly LIMITED EDITION HELLO KITTY! I am so loved! Thank you baby.

Review: Superstar K Korean BBQ
3 weeks ago, I blogged about my review on 2D 1N Korean BBQ.
Back then, I thought I found the best Korean BBQ in the whole of my life, and I'm so going to stick to it.
Not long until my Big C sissy brought me to Superstar K, I changed my mind. LOL!
Why is Superstar K better? (To me.)
1) The server will cook for you. (I don't know how to cook.) 2) If you were to cook yourself, probably you won't know how readily-cooked is the meat.
That's why the boy actually had diarrhoea that other day, because he cooked it. (Just a guess.)
3) I, personally prefer "table-service" style to buffet style.
(That's how I grew up, the family doesn't enjoy dining buffet style.) 4) The environment is more decent to dine in. (I hate cooking smell but Superstar K doesn't really smell that bad.)
They set up the table for our feast.
Let it burn, let it burn, let it burn~ Here comes the JUICY. YUMMY. FAT MEAT!
Best of the best..you don't have to cook, but you just need to eat!
They cook for us! (I don't trust my own cooking.) I was never a veggie eater, but because of these juicy meat.. I finished up all my veggies! So healthy all of the sudden.. HEHEHE!
This is another awesome yummy that you guys MUST TRY!
STEAM EGG~ beyond words.
Anyway, you guys can try both and make comparison yourself. 2D 1N: est. $40+ for 2 person. Superstar K: est. $80+ 3 person. (paying for the service) All the above are my personal review on Korean BBQ. SUPERSTAR K KOREAN BBQ Address: 75 Tanjong Pagar Road Phone: 62240504

Gestures of love.
These famous Luxemburgerli's macrons took 11 hour 35 mins flight from Zurich.
She see people queuing, she joined in the queue. Totally not knowing that she's buying some famous macrons! LOL.
I'm never a sweet tooth, I don't eat cakes, ice cream, cookies, biscuit & macrons!
Yes, I think I'm not a girl.. hahahaha!
Macrons in Singapore are too sweet for me.
But somehow, I trust my Big C jiejie, Christy.
Just a month or two ago, she got pineapple tarts from Taiwan.
I hate pineapple tarts, after one try, I spammed the rest hahahaha!
So, I did the same and gave the macrons a try.. to my surprise, it's awesome!
NOT OVERLY SWEET!!! TOTALLY YUMYUM! Even my Mommy, the picky foodie (I inherit from her) requested for 2nd piece! ![]() This is Lychee Champagne, sort of sparkling wine also from Zurich. I'm not a drinker although I party. Yes, I love Moet with apple juice but I hardly touch alcohol. Christy also doesn't drink. We are usually the coke drinkers in parties, but she said she love this, I've yet to try though, again.. I trust her so I'm gonna try soon. Have been really busy and didn't spend much time at home. Gonna share it with the boy over the weekends (:
Last but not least, Hello Kitty Perfume set!
I kept it in my hello kitty display corner because I can't bare to open this cutie up :D She saw it. she finds it too cute not to buy, she whatsapp me & said she's buying. Yes, that's my crazy Big C, Christy. She's like my blood related sister. She's my Santa, she always buy things for Chevy & I wherever she fly to. She knows me well. I am thankful for this friendship. Thank you for your gesture of love always, my Big c jiejie! My language of love is quality time & giving of gifts. They help remind me that I'm loved by people around me. What about you? Show your gesture of love today. Love never fails.
xoxo ♥
