Alive Museum Singapore (AMS)
I was one of the selected blogger to visit Alive Museum for FREE by OmySG Blog Club!
I've been pestering the boy and friends to go together for months.. and I'm thankful.. got my chance!
Went over last weekend on Sunday, 10 August 2014, reached there about 11.45am.
The crowd slowly comes in after 12pm.
The boy & I didn't know what to expect.
We've been to the 2 Degree Ice Exhibition during Valentine's Day this year.
We paid like 50-60 bucks, ended up we only spent less than an hour.
This time round, I visited the Alive Museum for FREE and
we spend 2 hours plus in it!
Time just passed very fast.
How to fully enjoy the experience of Alive Museum?
1. Go early so that you won't meet the crowds.
(Weekdays: After 6pm and Weekends: Before 12pm)
I've encounter people hogging on certain areas and you probably have to wait.
2. Double dating is recommended.
You need people to help you take pictures!
The staff are nice, they will help you..
but you don't see staff everywhere.
3. Do not wear WHITE.
There will be a few art pieces which will require you to pose position such as
lying on the floor and etc.
You won't wanna dirty your clothes although the floor is
not say like very dirty but still. yah.
4. Do not wear skirt.
One of the reason is the same as above another is because there's an enclosed area
where you will be surrounded by many mirror from ALL direction which I will show in my video later on.
Photo time!
Too many photo and these are just some of it.

SCAMMER ALERT!
So as I did mentioned in one of my past post that I was trying to sell my Samsung camera
as I really wanted that new camera.
However, I wanna try to be able to cover as much cost as possible.
I've received an email days ago, from SCAMMER!
Points to note:-
1) He asked if it's still available.
2) He tells you grandmother story like "I'm getting for my daughter who is in Malaysia, however he is from US.
3) All he ever does was to ask for prices and shipping charges only, didn't even asked for pictures until I offered to show him.(Will you ever wanna buy used item online but yet never request for pictures? NOT FOR ME LAH!)
Okay, I don't buy used item though.
4) I tried tested him by telling him, I will only ship out the items after the cash is in, he agreed. 5) But here comes the payment time..

WHAT?! MEANS MY MONEY WON'T COMES IN UNTIL I SHIP THE ITEM OUT?!
SOUNDS LIKE A FRAUD!

One look at this email, it looked really fake and super unprofessional. Since when banks will use such format..
or rather does bankers email client personally? Isn't citibank's email should end with citibank.com or whatsoever?
I went on to google the contact number. I was linked to all the scammer alerts and surprisingly, email format/style are all the same just sent using different name.
What if I didn't check? But I really thank God I've checked, otherwise I would have lose my camera just like that.
Google is really super helpful. I was nearly a victim, so close..
Guys, please be really careful when you're selling stuff online. Always be on high alerts for scammer.
Always check and double check or even triple check.
Don't be the next victim.
xoxo

Ratings & Review: Siloso Beach Resort.
Initially, I was looking forward to the stay-cation.
So I camwhore non-stop. hahaha, I love this new monthly lenses but I have really sensitive eyes.
I got eye infection since Thursday. But vain me, wanna look good on camera.
With this lens, I don't even need to put eyeliner!
Ending the night without lenses because my eyes got so red by late afternoon.
Guess monthly lenses are ain't for me, now I'm back using my daily lenses, no more dolly eyes ):
By far the WORST stay-cation ever.
Let me list down a few stay-cation experience in Singapore I had before.
- Ascott Raffles
- Swissotel
- Pan Pacific
- Grand Copthorne
- Marina Bay Sands (MBS)
This round for the girlfriend birthday, we got to try stay-cation at Siloso Beach Resort.
It's entrance looks a bit run-down and have limited parking lot.
And first thing the girlfriend said was "wah piang, the picture look better."
Here we go again, pictures VS reality. HAHA!
Service of the reception area is lousy.. we had baby pram but no one open the door for us.
The moment I stepped into the room, I screamed!
The floor is so sandy, the table beside the bed is so dusty.
TOO DIRTY and worst, we have an infant in the room.
Called housekeeping but the person didn't bring a cloth, ended up using up all the tissues and we have to called to request another.
The floor is still sandy even after vacuuming it and we can't even change room, goodness.
Put down our stuff, ready for the swim.. oh my gosh~ the water looks so dirty.
I swam 30 mins and I'm up and rushing for a bath, I couldn't stand it any longer.
Paid 400SGD per night for such stay-cation, no way!
Okay this hotel had been blacklisted.

Overall, a gathering with the girlfriends is always awesome.
xoxo.
